A unique opportunity for amateurs and professional natural history photographers alike to photograph birds and mammals in their natural habitat. All from the ‘relative comfort’ of our wooden hides or in our managed open spaces here in Otterbourne, Hampshire.
The aim of the Pete Whieldon Photography Hampshire Hide Hire Centre is to provide an opportunity for photographers of all levels to share our passion for natural history photography.
If you hire one of our hides you will be able to take unique photographs of native wild birds or our resident hawks and owls in the comfort of bespoke wooden photography hides. Additionally our large fully netted flight cage (30m x 7m x 7m) provides a great managed training area for getting used to photographing birds in flight before venturing into our open areas. We can bundle this experience with our woodland walk and Reflection Pool package. Camera clubs and other groups ask us for our group discounts.
Within the woodland grounds we have comfortable purpose built wooden hides. We have two Kingfisher Hides located next to a natural stream and pond, a Reflection Pool hide (see info on The Owl Day), two Water Vole hides, and a further two wooden Wild Bird Hides.
